The Climate and Health Alliance, GGHH Pacific Region, and the Western Australia Department of Health's Sustainable Development Unit are thrilled to bring the Greening the Healthcare Sector Forum to Noongar Country, Perth, Australia, for the first time, hosted by South Metropolitan Health Service. 

The forum will showcase Australian and New Zealand health sector leaders who are decarbonizing their operations, improving their climate resilience, and working to improve health equity.

Call for presentations and workshops

The world strives for a low-carbon, sustainable, and climate-resilient future, and health care delivery must change alongside it. This year's forum will be focused on this ‘how’ – how to empower action to deliver sustainable and climate-resilient health care. 

Submissions are open for presentations and workshops that respond to this theme. To submit, please send the following: 

  • A summary that includes background/rationale, aim, method/process, results/outcomes, conclusion/implications (250 words)
  • Explanation of how your presentation addresses the overarching forum theme ‘empowering action’ (100 words)
  • Speaker bio (50 words)
