Hospital Bukit Mertajam - Malaysia

Hospital Bukit Mertajam implemented a plastic reduction strategy across its 242-bed facility, transitioning from single-use items to sustainable alternatives like powdered hemodialysis solutions and a "Refill Concept" for sanitizers. The hospital recycled nearly 8,000 kg of plastic in 2024, saving RM 7,103.60 ($1,680 USD) in revenue.
