Salem Hospital - Germany

Salem Hospital implemented a sustainable on-site disposal system for surgical suction fluids using the Serres Nemo device, achieving a 92% reduction in medical fluid waste. By emptying suction bags directly into the sewer system, the hospital cut waste disposal costs by at least 66% and reduced associated CO2 emissions by up to 97% by eliminating the need for complex transportation and incineration.
