In 2020, as part of efforts to combat the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the Club Noel Children's Clinical Foundation embarked on a comprehensive review of the cleaning and disinfection supplies used in the hospital.

On July 12th and 13th, 2023, the 5th Global Green and Healthy Hospitals Latin American Conference was held. In order to create a systematic tool to guide and evaluate Chinese healthcare institutions’ sustainable procurement, Rock Environment and Energy Institute (REEI) collaborated with CEC to develop a Sustainable Procurement Evaluation Guidance for Healthcare Institutions in 2019, which is a sub-project supported by SHiPP.

The Communal Department of Health is an outsourced service dedicated to managing the public health centers of Talca’s municipality. In 2020, as a result of its participation in the procurement project, a major environmental milestone was achieved: the Sustainable Public Procurement Guidelines of Talca’s Communal Department of Health were approved by Municipal Decree.
