    Launched in 2015 at the Paris Climate Conference, the Health Care Climate Challenge is a Health Care Without Harm initiative to mobilize health care institutions around the world to play a leadership role in addressing climate change.

La Red Global de Hospitales Verdes y Saludables posee cuatro categorías de membresía: hospitales, centros de salud y otras instituciones de atención, sistemas de salud y organizaciones (profesionales y académicas) vinculadas con el sector. A continuación, consulte la descripción de cada una para saber cuál se adecúa a su institución. Si su institución cumple con los requisitos, puede unirse a la Red Global. Invitamos a las y los profesionales de la salud que trabajen en un hospital, centro de salud, sistema u organización a promover que su institución se sume institucionalmente a la Red Global.

Climate Challenge Awards Winners 2020
Health Care Without Harm is honored to announce the 2020 Climate Champions of the Health Care Climate Challenge. This year we are recognizing over 40 health care institutions spread out across 17 countries on 6 continents. From Greece to Costa Rica, Taiwan to Morocco and points in between, these hospitals, health systems and organizations are at the forefront of the transformation to climate-smart health care. Their commitments, investments and innovations are inspiring and guiding the sector around the world.

El sector salud debe liderar el camino hacia un ambiente que no dañe la salud de las personas. Es hora de tomar medidas. Los miembros de la Red Global de Hospitales Verdes y Saludables que están trabajando con el objetivo de reducir su impacto sobre el ambiente y la salud de los pacientes, los trabajadores y la comunidad en general deben medir el efecto de sus acciones a través del tiempo y así poder establecer las mejores estrategias para el cuidado ambiental. Para apoyar a los hospitales de América Latina en esa tarea, Salud sin Daño creó el programa Menos huella, más salud.

Importante Antes de completar el formulario de inscripción para manifestar el interés de sumar a su institución a la Red Global, recomendamos: Ingresar aquí para consultar si su institución ya es miembro de la Red Global  Revisar las categorías de membresía, de manera de poder determinar si su institución es elegible y, en ese caso, en qué categoría. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Si su hospital, centro de salud, sistema u organización está ubicado en países de habla hispana de América Latina y el Caribe, revise la descripción de las categorías de membresía y complete el formulario que encontrará más abajo para manifestar el interés en sumarse a la Red Global de Hospitales Verdes y Saludables en la próxima cohorte del 2024. Cuando el período de evaluación de membresías esté abierto, una persona de nuestro equipo se comunicará para informarle los próximos pasos.
