The WHO guidance for Climate Resilient and Environmentally Sustainable Health Care Facilities, co-authored by Health Care Without Harm, and soon to be published on October 13th 2020, provides health professionals and health care facility managers with key tools and interventions to build resilience and improve environmental sustainability in health care facilities.
The WHO guidance thereby aims to support health care facilities to anticipate, respond to, recover from and adapt to climate-related shocks and stresses, while minimizing negative impacts on the environment and leveraging opportunities to restore and improve it.
In these two webinars taking place on the 13th of October, WHO representatives will provide an overview of the new WHO guidance for Climate Resilient and Environmentally Sustainable Health Care Facilities, and a variety of experts and country representatives, including Health Care Without Harm staff, will share their priorities and initiatives to implement the guidance.
