Race to Zero for Healthcare is an initiative led by Health Care Without Harm that mobilizes hospitals and health and engages institutions worldwide to commit to net zero emissions to protect people and the planet.
To join Race to Zero for Healthcare, an authorized person from a healthcare institution must sign the official Climate Challenge pledge and submit a letter of intent committing to set a target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 or earlier, interim mitigation targets for 2030, and reporting annually on progress towards these goals. Interested institutions should review this guide that outlines the requirements for participation and reporting before applying.
